About
I've often heard that traveling is as much about the journey as the destination. While it's easy to enjoy the beauty of an incredible sight, much of the true value to me is found in the journey taken to travel from place to place. The friends and memories made along the way prove to be just as satisfying as the adventure itself.
My hope is that these pictures will spark interest to see the world & explore some of the amazing things the Lord has created. I always look to capture the beauty of God's creation. Psalm 19 says it best: "The Heavens declare the Glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands." I hope to create a site to encourage others to get out and see the world. I've been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to travel and see some amazing things. By donating my websites yearly proceeds, I hope to help people and be part of something bigger than myself. Check out the site, follow me on instagram, or feel free to contact me with any questions. |

My Camera
I'm often asked which camera I use to take pictures while I am traveling. I typically use, and would highly recommend mirrorless DSLR cameras. These combine the quality of a traditional DSLR, with the size, weight, & technological advantages of a point & shoot/smartphone. Olympus, Sony, and Fujifilm all make great mirrorless DSLR cameras with an extensive array of lenses for each system. Researching the type of lenses that your shooting will require, and which lens system offers that sort of lens should be integral in the decision making process.
The camera I currently use is an Olympus OMD-EM10 Mark ii

Feed the Children
To me, there are much more important things in this world than money. The Bible encourages us to give generously & with a cheerful heart. I clearly love to travel & go on adventures, but I really wanted to find a way to do this while also demonstrating God's love for others. Therefore, I created a yearly Calendar with my travel pictures, with proceeds supporting "Feed the Children", a non-profit who delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disasters.
What exactly is "Feed the Children"?
Feed the Children believes that it can create a world where no child goes to bed hungry. Since 1979, Feed the Children has grown into one of the largest U.S.-based charities. It is accredited by GuideStar Exchange and the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, maintains a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, and is also a member of InterAction. Through its network of agencies, Feed the Children distributed more than $344 million in food, essentials, educational supplies, and medicine, impacting close to 9 million individuals in the U.S. and more than 4.9 million individuals internationally, for a total of 13.9 million individuals globally in fiscal year 2014.
I’m proud to support Feed the Children and its mission to provide hope and resources for those without life’s essentials. By joining with them, I plan to help them create a world where no child goes to bed hungry.
