MOROCCO QUICK GUIDE
THOUGHTS: Morocco is a land of extremes. Whether it's hectic markets vs. peaceful towns, or vast deserts & high mountains, Morocco has something for everyone.
TOP PLACES: Marrakesh, Merzouga, Chefchouen
CURRENCY: Moroccan Dirham (10:1 USD)
TRAVEL ROUTE: Marrakesh -> Ouzoud -> Ouarazazate-> Merzouga-> Fez-> Chefchouen -> Casablanca
TIPS: Marrakesh is a really neat cultural center with a must-experience evening market, 3-day desert trip to Merzouga from Marrakesh is highly recommended, Fez is one of my least favorite cities in the world - super hectic (Although the city itself is beautiful & unique, the people were not my favorite), Chefchouen was in stark contrast to Fez, a beautiful mountain city with white washed buildings and blue roofs. Lots of great hiking in the area including a visit to God's Bridge & some waterfalls in Talassemtane National Park, Casablanca has a neat mosque but can be seen in an afternoon.
RECOMMENDED (1-10): 7
