SOUTH KOREA QUICK GUIDE
THOUGHTS: South Korea has plenty to offer in terms of scenery, culture, and food. As it is a bit off the main backpacking routes, many foreigners here are ESL teachers. Therefore, things seem less touristy, but can be a bit tougher to navigate to than the typical SE Asia destination.

- Travel March-May to see the Cherry Blossoms
- Hike in Bukhansan NP, just quick metro ride North of Seoul for some great scenery
- Go up to the North Korea border in the demilitarized zone and peer into propaganda villages
- Walk down into one of the many tunnels dug by the North Koreans into South Korea
