THOUGHTS: Uzbekistan is an interesting country with a unique history and culture. Very cool cities that lie along the Silk Road. Worth checking out as a week-long trip from Kyrgyzstan/Kazakhstan, but maybe not by itself.

- Khiva: Worth spending 1 full day to check out the old fortified city
- Bukhara: 2 days to see the main sights
- Samarkand: Registan is the coolest single man made sight in Central Asia! Worth spending 1-2 days
- Tashkent: Not many notable things to see as a tourist- more of a transportation hub. Stay at the Art Hostel!
